for tyler, julie, and their three beautiful children:

#CannonStrong

On June 26th, what started as a trip to urgent care for a persistent headache turned into every family’s worst nightmare. Tyler Cannon, a devoted husband, proud father of three—including a newborn just five weeks old—and a dedicated Plymouth Police Officer, was rushed to the ER. A CT scan revealed a massive, tennis ball-sized tumor in his brain.

He was immediately transferred to the University of Michigan, where doctors performed a biopsy and delivered devastating news: the tumor is an astrocytoma, a highly aggressive form of brain cancer.

Tyler and his wife Julie had just welcomed their newest baby, looking forward to a peaceful paternity leave and cherished moments as a family of five. Instead, their world has been flipped upside down. Now, Tyler faces an awake craniotomy to remove the tumor, followed by an intense journey of treatment and recovery.

Anyone who knows Ty knows he’s a fighter—on the street and in life. He’s the kind of guy who shows up for others without hesitation. Now it’s our turn to show up for him.

Tyler is currently unable to work, and the road ahead includes extensive medical expenses, specialized care, and additional childcare needs for their three young children. Every dollar raised will help ease the burden on this incredible family during the most challenging time of their lives.

Please keep the Cannon family in your thoughts and prayers—and if you can, donate or share their story. Together, let’s stand #CannonStrong.
